Course Outline - Building Location and Asset Hierarchies available in IBM Maximo 7.6 or MAS9 format

This  half-day short course is for advanced asset management IBM Maximo 7.6.1.x or MAS9 users who want to learn how to create locations and assets and build their hierarchies. You will also learn how to create and use an asset template. At the end you will learn how the warranty contracts are created and associated to an asset. 

Course Description: 

• Overview of hierarchies
• create a location and associate it with a system. 
• create an asset for the location to start your hierarchy.
• move assets to different locations and swap assets. 
• add a subassembly to the asset.
• create an asset template and generate new assets from a template.
• generate preventive maintenance records for new assets from an asset template.
• create a warranty contract and associate it with an asset.
