Course Outline for the IBM Maximo 7.6.1.x Creating & Using Safety Plans

This short course is for intermediate work and asset management Maximo users who want to learn how to create and use Safety Plans in their Maximo environment. You will learn to create a Hazard with Precautions, a Precaution, a Hazard with Lock-Outs, a Lock Out/Tag Out, a Safety Plan, and associating a Safety Plan.


Prerequisite Classes: 

  1. Getting Started: Navigating, Searching & Basic Reports in IBM Maximo 7.6.1.x 
  2. Asset Management Overview in IBM Maximo 7.6.1.x 
  3. Work Order Lifecycle in IBM Maximo 7.6.1.x 


Course Description:

  • create a Precaution.
  • create a Hazard with Precautions in Maximo.
  • create a Hazard with Tag Outs.
  • create a Lock Out/Tag Out.
  • create a Safety Plan.
  • associate a Safety Plan to a Job Plan and a Work Order.
